Membership Benefits
Visit over 40 networking groups
Members are welcome to visit one other ScreenPop meeting each month, free of charge, as well as any launch meetings for new groups so long as they are not locked out by someone else who has taken their category in that group. This enables you to expand your reach and make connections beyond the confines of your own group, meeting like-minded business owners across a far broader area.
Expand your reach with monthly online meetings
Each month, we host an open online meeting with no lockout, where you can make new contacts throughout seven counties without leaving the comfort of your own home! These meetings vary in day and time from month to month, attracting a varied group each time, and allowing as many members as possible to access this benefit.
Practice your public speaking skills
Each meeting, you’ll get a chance to make a 60-second pitch, explaining how you what you do and how you can help the other businesses in the room. Our informal, supportive environment makes even the most reluctant speakers feel comfortable. But if you’re looking for even more speaking opportunities, we ask 2 members to present to the group each month, so you can gain extra speaking experience, and share what you do in even more depth.
Learn from business experts
With members from a variety of industries, including finance, law and business strategy, our meetings are also a space to learn. Running your own business requires a whole wheelhouse of skills, and joining our network will help you build relationships with a whole range of experts, so you’re never on your own!
Build meaningful long-term business relationships
Because you see the members of your group every month, it’s easy to build meaningful relationships with potential customers, suppliers and collaborators. Many of our members have met close friends at our meetings and found a community of supporters who celebrate their successes and help them through tough times.
How It Works
Choose your group
First, you’ll need to find a ScreenPop group near you with space for your business type. Some business types are more competitive than others, so you may have to wait for a space to become available.
Try it out
You’re welcome to sign up straight away, but if you want to check the group out first, you’re welcome to come along for a visit for just £15+vat, before you commit to a full membership.
Pay your fees
A single category membership costs £155+vat a year, plus a £15+vat monthly fee, reduced to £295+vat if you pay it all upfront.

FAQs
What is a ‘lockout category’?
We use lockout categories to ensure there are no two businesses of the same type within a single ScreenPop networking group. An example of a lockout category would be will writing. If you were a financial advisor who also wrote wills for people, that would be fine, but you’d need to either take a double membership for both will writing and financial advice, or avoid talking about your will writing services at your meetings.
How often are the meetings?
Each group meets once a month, but you’re welcome to attend our monthly online meeting as well, plus you can visit one other group a month if not locked out, as well as attending the launches for any new groups we start, again if your category isn’t taken in that group.
My business covers more than one category - can I join with both?
Absolutely! We offer double memberships, so you can cover two categories, provided neither one is taken by someone else in your chosen group. We charge an extra £70+vat for your yearly fee, but your monthly fees will stay the same.
Can I join more than one group?
Yes! Several of our members are in multiple groups and have found that this enables them to network across a wider area, diversifying their connections. All we ask is that you make sure that you are able to make the time commitment to regularly attend meetings for every group you’re in so that both you and your fellow members are able to get the full benefit of your membership. Additional groups cost £20 less for the annual fee but the monthly fee stays the same.
Can I visit other groups?
You’re welcome to visit one other ScreenPop group each month if not locked out, free of charge, and we also encourage existing members to come along to launches of new groups in their area, if not locked out, to get to know any new members. Our monthly online meeting is included in your membership, and it comes with no lockout, so everyone is always welcome to join in!
Can I pay all my fees for the year upfront?
Yes! We offer a discounted price if you pay all the fees for the year upfront – £295+vat for single membership, and £365+vat for double.
Will I get a reminder for each meeting?
Yes, we send out an email a day or so before to remind you that the meeting’s going ahead, but we always advise our members to get meeting dates in the diary in advance, so you can plan accordingly.
Do I need to dress up smartly?
We recommend that our members wear clothes that they feel comfortable in, and you definitely don’t have to wear a suit and tie! Generally, members tend to look relatively smart, but dress like yourself and let your personality shine through, so we can get to know the person behind the business.
What prop should I bring?
We ask that our members bring a prop that reflects them and their business each month. We’ve found that this makes you stick in people’s minds and it often livens up the room!
We’ve seen just about everything props-wise, from plants to skeletons, and several that have been improvised by forgetful members on the spot! If you sell a particular product, it’s great to see it in action, but service-based businesses often get creative too, and you never quite know what to expect. Don’t feel like you have to go out and spend money on an item – household objects can be great metaphors for all kinds of work.
